Trying to find a quality farmhouse sink under $1000 can seem like a daunting task but today I’ve rounded 10 of the best farmhouse sinks under $1000 to get you that sink you’ve been dreaming of without breaking the bank.
During our kitchen renovation, I have been trying to make sure that I pay close attention and touch on any pain points we have encountered just in case you may be experiencing them as well or to help you better prepare for your own renovation.
One huge issue we ran into before we even began our DIY Concrete Countertops was finding a farmhouse sink that didn’t cost over $1,566,752.00 Okay, I’m slightly kidding but if you’ve ever priced a farm sink then you know they can be extremely expensive especially when you’re working with a tight budget like we are.
Although I had been dying to redo our kitchen the fact is that we never really planned any of this, it just kind of happened. We had been talking about redoing our kitchen pretty much since we moved in and we had even saved up several times specifically for the project but it seemed like every single time something would come up that required the funds.
So one day I had a wild hair and somehow talked Wayne into starting this project with zero prior planning and a very slim budget, I’m honestly still not sure how in the world I got him to agree to it but here we are several months later with a half put together- half tore apart kitchen.
Once I was able to actually sit down and start prepping a rough budget for the updates we’d be doing, I knew that cabinet doors, countertops, and a farmhouse sink were going to be the major expenses of this renovation. So after deciding on cabinet doors and countertops, I began racking my brain researching the best budget-friendly farm sinks and the truth is they were kind of hard to find. Luckily after a few weeks of hunting, I found one that checked off all of the boxes.
At first I wasn’t even going to write this post because I truly didn’t realize the struggle until a coworker mentioned that he and his wife were also renovating their kitchen but had been at a standstill for weeks because they were unable to find a farmhouse sink that they could afford, right then I knew that this post was not only perfect to cut down on research time but much needed for those looking to spend less on the sink they’ve always wanted.

For our sink, we went with the 33″x 18″ and it worked out perfectly on our 36″ cabinet base so for the sake of this post I am only using sinks with the same length.

I so wish the design of my island would have allowed for a farmhouse sink. You know I am going to be so freakin’ jelly of your new kitchen. It’s going to be fabulous, love.
Thank you, Erica, I am wondering if we will ever finish it at the rate we’re going… Living through a big reno while trying to do the work yourself is hard and it’s taking way longer than I thought it would because life seems to keep getting in the way but we are trying not to be too hard on ourselves and just do what we can. Oh wow, that stinks but your kitchen is gorgeous!! You guys did an amazing job on it and I love that you kept things budget friendly.
