Over the years Amazon has become one of my favorite spots to get just about everything, we’ve been prime members for many years and being able to purchase items and receive them in two days is huge in my line of work.
Most people have no idea how amazing Amazon can be when it comes to home decor. They literally carry everything you can think of and honestly who else besides Amazon will be delivering LIVE Christmas trees this year guys?
The home decor selection is something I’ve recently been using more and more and let me tell you they have some of the very same items you see elsewhere usually at a better price point. Sometimes you do have to hunt a little bit but if you’re a bargain shopper you know its totally worth it.
For the past few months I’ve had all things kitchen on the brain but the other day I was sitting there wondering why in the world I hadn’t done something with our bathroom yet. It doesn’t have to be an all-out renovation, simply changing a few things will make a huge impact on your home.
Reminding myself of that has given me a new found drive to get our guest bathroom presentable and make it feel more like us.
So I am starting something new where once a month I will pick an area of the home and compile hidden gems f0r you guys. Do you have a suggestion for a room you’d like to see next month? Let me know in the comments section and I just might pick yours!
To kick things off I thought an all-out bathroom design would be perfect for everyone whether you’re doing a full-blown renovation or your bathroom just needs a refresh there is something for everyone and I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it.

In an all-white bathroom, the important thing to remember is texture and tone. Using things like the teak stool above adds a layer of warmth and showcasing a set of nice Turkish towels gives the space the added texture it needs to keep from falling flat.
The bathroom is also the perfect place to have fun with tile and finishes. Mixing black, brass and nickel gives the space a designer look and mixing the subway and penny tile gives it that modern farmhouse feel that so many of us are after.
If you’re in need of hardware for a bathroom remodel you will be blown away by the options Amazon has (I know I was) the prices on some of these items are unbelievable when compared to other stores.
This option is by far my favorite, I love a simple classic bathroom but using a vintage rug instead of your typical bath mat is a total game changer for the space. It instantly creates a designer look and mixing new and old is one of the easiest ways to nail a lived-in look.
Overall creating a simple yet beautiful bathroom doesn’t have to be difficult and it can totally be done on a budget. Remember when choosing items keep color, tone, and texture in mind to easily control the design. Which look is your favorite? Let me know in the comments section below!
