Last year was my first time rolling out the Christmas Decor Holiday Shop and you guys went nuts for it so I thought it only fitting that we have one every year! Some of you may be wondering why I’m talking about Christmas in October but I’ve had so many die-hard Christmas fans asking for it already over on Instagram and most of the good stuff gets completely wiped out before November when most people start getting their trees out.
So after missing out on several of the key pieces I was drooling over last year and ending up disappointed along with all of the other late shoppers, I wanted to give those of you that asked for it a chance to shop early before things sell out. Don’t worry it will be here waiting for those of you that like to wait until after Thanksgiving to start prepping for Christmas.

We did a full-blown overhaul of our Christmas stockpile last season and even invested in this new flocked Christmas tree. So this year I am looking forward to not spending as much and simply changing up a few things in order to give it a new feel.

When this time of year rolls around there is one place I always turn for inspiration and that is Mcgee & Co. they have some of the best Christmas decor and I love that they carry high-end designer type items as well as affordable pieces that the everyday person can buy without feeling like you just broke into your savings.

Per usual Shea and her team did not disappoint and even brought back some of the most popular items from last year’s Christmas haul! I love the laid back + relaxed vibe of her decorating style and her designs are always so on point when it comes to what’s hot in home decor.
Christmas 2019 Prediction
In my opinion, this year is going to be a great year for all my neutral loving peeps! The flocked Christmas trees of last year will take a slight back seat to the bare, snowless Nobles fir… I am going to go out on a limb here and say that this tree is going to be insanely popular and will likely sell out fast! Tree collars are here to stay, especially anything woven but you will want to snag them as early as possible if you have your eye on a particular one. Think ornaments in muted tones mixed with lots of texture in the form of chunky garland, knit throws, and trees that look like a cross between your favorite real Christmas tree and something out of a Charlie Brown Christmas.
This year Christmas trends are much like last year’s but with a lean toward the minimal side and I have to say I am totally here for it!

This year we have added a few new pieces to our Christmas decor, I started with this gorgeous tree topper that I am so excited to use it this year! Then I snagged a new set of stockings in this chunky knit pattern which is great for adding texture.
I’ll also be switching out my ornaments, I’m not sure if I’m going to go with warm matte colors or metallic pastels but either way it’s always fun to try out new styles.
I hope you enjoy the Christmas Decor Holiday Shop this year! In order to make this post easy to find I will link to it in the menu up top, I recently added links to my Amazon Storefront under the shop tab so be sure to check that out if you’re interested.
