Welcome to this week’s Friday Favorites, where I discuss things from the week that I love or have inspired me in some way!
If you are new here thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you’ll stick around so we can become pals.
Can you believe we are less than a week away from Thanksgiving?
Raise your hand if you’re excited about the holidays! Both hands raised over here.
This week we have been working extremely hard to get things finished up so we can prepare for company over the holidays, I am kind of freaking out a little bit about our latest project.
This has been a total labor of love and taken many many weeks to come together and seeing it so close to the finish line has me grinning from ear to ear.
When we first started renovating our home I couldn’t even imagine the end because there were so many things on our to-do list that it seemed so far away and even though we didn’t finish all of our 2017 Home Goals I think we did a pretty good job.
If I’m being honest the Home Goals list was a little far-fetched, seeing as we were already into February when we sat down and wrote it and we took a month off during the summer to spend time with our kids. So it was really unlikely that we would finish all of the things on the list.
But hey, life happens and sometimes things get off track But guess what? That’s Okay!
Next week we will be rolling out our Annual Holiday Gift Guide and I will likely be posting more than normal due to all of the amazing sales that will be taking place but don’t worry I promise not to bombard you.
We also have a very Merry Christmas post coming up very soon and I cannot wait to show you what Christmas looks like at our house so be sure to check back for that.

This week’s Friday Favorites collection is one that I am head over heels in love with!
Sven Charme Arm Chair: When I first spotted this beauty I think I heard the angels sing, for real though this chair is one of the most gorgeous things I have ever seen and I need a set, like yesterday! Pair them with a neutral sofa and it would literally be my design dream. Isn’t it funny how a few years ago most people wouldn’t be caught dead with this color leather in their homes but cognac is back baby and I couldn’t be happier.
Telephone Poles Print: Last week I mentioned how much vintage oil paintings are pretty much the hottest item right now next to vintage rugs, so when I spotted this one in a print option I had to have it! You can save so much money by simply ordering prints and buying a nice frame and you will still get the exact same effect.
Candle Holders: When decorating with neutrals sometimes things can seem cold and sterile, to avoid that the easiest thing to do is add in wood tones and different textures to warm things up a bit. These candle holders are the perfect example and would look amazing near a fireplace or on a set of built-ins.
Brindella Sputnik: Modern chandeliers are the perfect way to add in a pop of whimsy to your current decor and updating lighting is one of the easiest ways to keep your decor from looking outdated. Most of you know I am a total sucker for brass, so it was no surprise when this one caught my eye. This entire collection would look fantastic together and gives you the perfect mix of styles for a curated look.
Buffalo Check Navy & Garden Vine Floral: You can never go wrong with buffalo check and pairing it with any floral is an instant win. Pillow covers are the best option when decorating because it is so easy to unzip and throw them in the washer when the kiddos spill something or the dog drools on one. Plus it makes things super easy when you want a change.
I hope you all enjoyed this collection as much as I did, a living area done in this style screams preppy, masculine, feminine and modern all at the same time and it is totally a look I would use in my own home. Enjoy the next week before things get crazy and were sitting smack dab in the middle of Christmas wondering where the time went.
